Whole Bag Charting
Frequently we see club sets where one or more clubs simply don’t perform like the others. The problem may be difficult to identify by feel alone.
Club charting makes the differences visible.
A charting session includes precise measurements of each club’s parameters, including:
· Frequency
· Length
· Swing weight and/or MOI
· Other relevant club specifications
The results are X/Y plotted, and the resulting graph will instantly reveal outlier clubs and inconsistencies within your set.
Your charting fee is only $35, and is credited toward resulting work of $100 or more. Golfers are welcome to observe and participate in the entire charting session - we guarantee you will learn something!
Putter Fitting
Most golfers struggle with putting on occasion. And most golfers’ putters have not been fitted to their stroke. Because you use your putter on every hole, it is the most important club to be properly fitted.
The Club Coach can make your current putter perform better with a session on our 6-hole outdoor putting green. By examining your putter and observing your putting style, we can make recommendations that will help you drop more putts and take strokes off your next round.
A putter fitting session ranges from $50 to $75, and includes any required modifications to your putter.
MOI Matching
For more that 100 years, golf manufacturers have assembled clubs using a method known as swing-weighting. Swing-weighting involves weighing the various components of the club and then distributing the weight in the club so that it balances on a 14” fulcrum. The problem with swing-weighting is that your clubs are all different lengths and weights, yet they are all balanced on the same 14” fulcrum - a “close, but no cigar” method.
Several years ago, a much more accurate method of measurement started being used, first in the professional ranks, and now available to all golfers. By measuring and matching each club’s moment of inertia (MOI), The Club Coach can make any club in your bag feel exactly like any other. In other words, we can make every club feel like your “money” club.
